We are farmers who run their farms organically or conventionally and people from different professions who feel connected to rural agriculture and who are committed to their preservation. We have been a grassroots peasant movement since 1974 and a non-partisan association that conducts agricultural policy and educational work. We are part of the worldwide small farmers movement “La Via Campesina” with organizations in 73 countries and 200 million members.
