The purpose of this law is to establish the general framework for the management of agroforestry land in Galicia, its use planning, the prevention and fight against its abandonment, the promotion of its recovery and the incorporation of young people to the agricultural activity, in order to guarantee the sustainability of the agroforestry sector. For this purpose, several objectives are established, such as: the management of agroforestry lands, through their identification, cartographic identification and management of their uses, using all available digital means; the shared management of lands and initiatives for the shared management and use of recovered lands; the incentive of sustainable agroforestry productions (organic production, extensive livestock systems and sustainable agroforestry management) or the support for the income of family farms, especially women farmers.
