AGACA is a co-operative umbrella organisation that serves and promotes commercial agri-food co-operative businesses and enterprise across multiple sections of the economy in Galicia -North-western region in Spain. AGACA’s central office is in Santiago de Compostela, the regional capital. Other two delegations are in Lugo and Ourense. AGACA’s activities are carried out at regional, national and international level. It is a member of the main umbrella bodies of co-operatives at the national level (Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España) and European one (COGECA -General Committee for Agricultural Co-operation in the European Union).
