The RUBIZMO project - a project funded by the EU through the Horizon 2020 programme - aims to identify the best initiatives and conditions for developing rural entrepreneurship and successful business models in high-potential sectors such as food and agriculture, value chains based on biotechnology and ecosystem services. The rural economy has great potential to pioneer sustainability and social return on investment in business models. In this regard, RUBIZMO will highlight the best business models and initiatives that generate value for the economy, the environment and society in equal measure. It involves 16 partners from 11 countries and is led by RISE.
