The possibility of buying local products directly from the producer is, for many consumers, the most satisfactory way to guarantee the quality, traceability and authenticity of products and a way to support the local economy. Communication between producers and consumers creates mutual trust and differentiates local products from others, adding economic, environmental and social value. In the PDR 2020, the GAL are responsible for supporting the creation and promotion of these Short Agri-Food Circuits (CCA). There have been many doubts, both from rural development agents and producers, about the creation of a short circuit and legal and procedural requirements for the commercialization of agro-food products in Short Circuits Agro-food (CCA). Thus, the entities involved in the ApproximaR considered it important to create conditions for the dynamization of Short Agri-Food Circuits, with the priorities defined by the Working Group — Short Agri-Food Circuits of the National Rural Network, in which all partners actively participated, including at the level of the Coordination of works.
