The general objective of the Doctoral program in Food Sciences is to promote the training of a new generation of research professionals in the field of food sciences with skills applicable to the development of a career in academia, applied research and in industrial research.The specific objectives, depending on the research Project, are those of the emerging issues of food science aimed at guaranteeing, through innovative solutions, innovation, quality andsafety and improving its sustainability by supporting the economic growth of the entire supply chain at a local, national and international level through actions that lead to the improvement of the nutritional quality of the products.
