ASKFOOD (Erasmus+ KA2 Knowledge Alliance, 2018-2021) aims at creating a new «educational » eco-system for innovation and sustainability of the food system, by setting a permanent knowledge alliance between businesses and Higher Education in the food and food-related sectors. Activities developed addressed the following aspects: i. upgrade and modernization of training and educational methodologies by implementing an Open Innovation framework. Ii. leverage of innovation and entrepreneurial mindset of HE graduates in food and food-related studies by piloting acceleration and growth hacking solutions in responses to cross-sectoral challenges; iii. Setting of a permanent knowledge alliance between businesses and HEIs in the food-related sectors by cross-industry knowledge platforms. A series of virtual tools (Smart Atlas, Forecast Aggregator, Interactive Training Gap Identifier, Start Up library) and networking environment (Digital Businees and Training Ecosystem, ASKFOOD Observatory)
