Description:
Do you dream of working with animals and animal health, disease and welfare as well as public health and food safety? Then become a Master of Veterinary Medicine and get your authorisation as a veterinarian.
From autumn 2024, it will be possible to take the veterinary medicine programme at AU Viborg - Aarhus University's new green campus. Here, from the start of your studies until you graduate, you will be surrounded by animals, beautiful nature and many other students who share your interests in health, welfare and a sustainable green future for humans and animals.
The veterinary programme consists of a 3-year Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree that takes 2½ years. The programme is a so-called unit programme, which means that during the programme you will be exposed to all aspects of the job as a veterinarian. At the same time, the programme gives you the opportunity to specialise in the areas of veterinary medicine that are of particular interest to you.
The first 30 Bachelor's students in Veterinary Medicine will begin in autumn 2024, and we expect the first Master's students to begin in autumn 2027.
