At the Institut dels Aliments de Barcelona, ​​our priority objective is to offer a quality educational and training service aimed at excellence, based on continuous improvement. Satisfying the needs of the interest groups is the challenge that our institute proposes and the instrument to achieve this goal is the implementation of a quality management system based on the ISO 9001 standard. The food institute is located within one of the largest food logistics centers in Europe. This makes the exchange of knowledge with companies in the sector one of our main objectives. We seek to meet the needs of the companies around us by training future workers in the sector, and by offering innovation and scientific dissemination services. We are a center specializing in food, fully aware that food production and consumption have a major impact on people's health and the environment. The IAB wants to contribute actively to the consolidation of values ​​and policies consistent with sustainable and healthy food. This is why education for sustainability is a core element of our educational project and all the action we develop is planned and designed, from the beginning, in accordance with this commitment.
