The BTSA is a short graduate diploma (Bac + 2), level 3 which essentially prepares for jobs as an agricultural technician and for installation in operation. It is a training that combines general and scientific education and the acquisition of technical knowledge. The BTSA APV trains professionals in the fields of agronomy, crop management, biology and plant physiology. These professionals observe and know how plants, soils and the climate work. They must take into account the territorial and environmental dimensions in order to make an agronomic diagnosis on plant production, soil fertility and the health status of crops in order to improve practices. It also attests to the professional capacity of a farmer for the allocation of installation aid.
